It's the oooh and aaahhhh time at the shop as some of the new goodies, that we ordered at the trade show, have started to arrive.
We have Prima papers and embellishments, WOW embossing powders, new Spellbinders dies, PaperArtsy stamps, Memory Box dies, Carta Bella papers and the new IndigoBlu releases.
The boxes are arriving daily and I can't keep my hands out of them, I have already had a Prima Engraver pad. It is just divine and my bank balance is under serious pressure.
Come in and have a little look as things are going fast.

Demo Day....
Here's a pic of a canvas I've made using PanPastels, stamps, texture paste and masks. I'll be showing how I made it on Saturday at the Pink Tulip PanPastel demo day. We will also be doing make and take sessions so you can have a go and see how easy PanPastels are to use.
I will be doing a class at PTC of this card along with a matching tag so if you like it call the shop and book a place.....
I've used one of the new IndigoBlu releases, they are sooooo fab u lous!!!!

Here again....
Nearly a week since my last blog post, so apologies for the delay. I have been on catch up time since the trade show and also fulfilling my grandmotherly duties.
As you will see from the last post I still have gremlins in the works regarding the uploading of my photos. Was all going well until I decided to enlarge one of the pics then it went and covered all my journaling. Anyway the journaling was a reminder that I am doing demonstrations with Pan Pastels on Saturday at Pink Tulip Creations, Studley. Tracy and myself have done some lovely samples for you to see and we will be doing make and takes also. I do hope you can come along and join us.
I have done a fab card, which will have a matching tag, for a PTC class using one of the new IndigoBlu releases so if you are interested in this class the card is on show in the shop.
Pan Pastel Demonstrations From 10 - 5 pm (with a break for lunch between 1 - 1.30 )

Happy bunny.....
Wow!! What a day!!
It was back to the NEC today for the last day of the trade show, and we (Pink Tulip) have had another gruelling day buying all the new goodies for the shop.
It has been another ego boosting day for me as Kay, from Indigo Blu, has asked me to design some cards for her and given me all the lovely new release stamps to work with. How lucky am I!!
I also had a pressie from Spellbinders of not one, but two sets of new dies. How much better could today get?
Then I was given a scrapbooking pack from the lovely guys from Stampbox.
I Love My Work!!!!
I am posting this from the comfort of my bed, with hardly the energy to lift my cup of tea, but have had a fab time at the show and would like to say a big thank you to Sheila (PTC) for letting me assist in buying all the new products. I look forward to designing new projects for her.

First day done.....
My oh my!
Has Pink Tulip Got some new goodies coming your way.
First day at the show is done and I can't feel my lower legs anymore but it has been so totally worth loosing the feeling in my legs and feet just to help bring new product ranges to the shop.
It was sooooo hard to choose, ( but hey someone has got to do it ) I love my work.
Sheila has worked hard to bring in some new ranges that Tracy and I can't wait to get our hands on and start designing with.
Tomorrow we have to do it all over again!!!
I know, I know, it's a hard life I've got but I will battle on on your behalf ( Hee hee ).

Check List....
I pad.... Check
Camera.....check
Notepad.....check
Boundless energy, enthusiasm, excitement.....check
Right! That means I'm ready for the big day. Just one more sleep (as my grandchildren say before a big event) till the trade show. Sheila and I have been busy all week researching products and craft companies that we need to visit and see in the really life, so to speak.
Sheila will ask me, do I want it, do I need it, is it a must have for the shop. (As in Pink Tulip Creations) Then she will ask me what I am going to do with it. So I will be put on the spot to get my designing head on and come up with ideas on how I am going use the stamp, punch, die, paper etc... Before Sheila gives her final seal of approval.
Only problem Sheila has got now is that she will also have Tracy bending her ear on all the goodies she likes too.
So watch this space and you may get some sneaky peaks of the goodies to come.

Did it work....
Well the photo was bigger, but I'm not sure if it is big enough to see all the detail on the box. I will have another go with the next upload ( not sure what to show next????? ) and try the next size. It would help if I took decent photos to begin with.
Talking of photos, I will have a look at the trade show and see if I can get some sneaky peaks of any new products that we ( as in Pink Tulip ) will be buying so I can pass them on to you.
I am looking forward to class 2 of the calendar class at PTC on Saturday, the first one went brilliantly.
Pictures and the really life version on view at PTC.
Now only three sleeps, sooooooo excited!!!!!!

Secret Admirer.....
In my wildest dreams!!!!!!
The secret admirer I'm talking about is the paper range from Kaisercraft.
I have used it on a heart shaped box, along with Adirondack paint dabbers, stamps and lots of treasures like the one's we all keep in our stash, while we wait for a project to use them on. I've also used a Martha Stewart punched border around the side of the box.
Right! I am now going to upload a photo of this heart shaped box, but this time I am going to try and make it a bit bigger so who knows what we will get this time. I've had a bit more instruction from Debs so here goes......

Counting the days....
Four more sleeps until the trade show YAY!!!!!!
This is when I am let loose to assist in buying all the new goodies for Pink Tulip Creations. I just can't wait.
Sheila has trouble keeping me under control ( well I know she has that problem most days ) because I am like a kid in a sweet shop. We start to look at one item that I am raving about but before Sheila has sorted that out, I am on to the next one!!
The lovely Tracy is coming too ( I think Sheila has asked her to come as back up in case I go manic again )
Anyway, only four more sleeps. Have got my notebook ready, have started to jot down anything I think we should have a sneaky peak at.
The only downside to these trade events is that you can look and order, but you can't bring it home with you to ooh and aah over.
So stand by, all you Pink Tulip shoppers, the new products will be on there way as soon as I can get hold of Sheila's bank account (hee hee).
How many hours in four sleeps??????????

Just Couldn't Wait...
Here again,
At Pink Tulip we have just taken delivery of the new February releases from Kaisercraft.
Well, as soon as I got my beady eye on the 75 cents paper range my pennies couldn't stay in my purse.
Now, next Sunday is the start of the trade show for us craft retailers and I always need a notebook, so I just had to use these lush new papers and cover a plain black hard cover notebook and turn it into something a bit more suitable for a papercraft designer (don't you know!!!) to take to the trade show. So here goes with the photo .....

Things To Come.....
I am feeling very excited, and just a little bit ego boosted, about some news I've had this week after a little trip to Malvern??????
A project I've done has been accepted for publication, with more to follow. But as with all magazines, the work is done now for print about three months.
So watch this space, as they say, and more info will follow
To Be Continued.................
Looking forward to Pink Tulip Creations monthly scrapbooking class today, with christmas/winter pages. I had to cancel the one in January, due to me being on deaths door since Christmas Day, so it will be great to have our class back again. Although the pages are minus photos, due to me not seeing much of the festive season
Check out www.pinktulipcreations.co.uk to have a look at the pages.

let's Try Again...
Here we go again. I am about to try and add a scrapbook page photo. Fingers crossed Deb.
YAY!!!!!! it's worked, well I never. Does this make me a fully fledged blogger now, I do hope so because I was about to throw this laptop through the window Anyway, back to the scrapbook page, this is a page a taught in my scrapping class last week. I think everone enjoyed it.
I taught them how to make the ribbon flowers with 12" of ribbon and the red double sided tape. They are really easy to make, though sometimes you are not sure wether you are making a rose or a carnation. It's all in the rolling and pinching
Hope you like the layout.
