Alma's Sewing Room....

A card from Pion papers.
You must all know by now how much I loves these papers. So this one is a real favourite of mine, I do seem to enjoy doing cards based on sewing. This is really bizarre because those who know me will tell you that I do not enjoy sewing at all. So anyway here's the card...

A French Country Card....

Bonjour mon ami.
Get me going all french!!  Must be the effect this Graphic 45 paper pad has on me. I do love this strikingly good paper range. It's bold and striking and a favourite of mine.
Anyway here's one I made earlier.....
Hope you like this one, it's done on an 8" x 8" card and the frame is raised as is the cockrel and the sunflower faux book page. I cut out the sunflowers from a sheet of them (phew! just can't stop this fussy cutting). I must be mad, but it's easier with a knife than scissors I think.

Got a Pion card for you tomorrow, using Alma's Sewing Room papers. Here's a sneaky peak....
Has this tickled your tastebuds?? let me know I'd love to hear from you

A Card For....

A Birthday Girl
Happy Birthday Victoria
I have used the fabby Prima Doll stamp again along with a couple of  Grand Nestie Circle dies and some glittery My Minds Eye paper. Woodware Pearl border, some mini roses, ribbon and some pearl card. How addictive are these dolls, I've never made sooo many girly cards.

Time For...

Tea and cake. Here's a little cake stand I've made. It looks so sweet and since putting it on show four people have asked me to make one for them. The only trouble is you can't get many cakes on it. I would have to refill it.

Another Great....

Workshop today at Pink Tulip. Our ladies completed the last three months of their Graphic45 "A Place In Time" calendar. I do hope they were all pleased with the results. It was great designing the calendar as the papers are so easy to work with. The calendar I made can be viewed at PTC

A Favourite Card....

This card is one I taught recently. I have used the Indigo Blu Square Peg, Round Hole stamp for the background on the message and the circle. The butterfly is from a Chocolate Baroque set, the message is PaperArtsy and the flowers are Heartfelt Creations Tattered Blossoms stamp set (it does have a matching die set too). The card is currently on view at Pink Tulip if you want to take a look.

Prima Doll Stamps...

Here's my first attampt to design with the fab new Prima Doll Stamps.
There are six in the range and PTC have a limited stock so get in quick if you are interested.

For this design I have used on of the tags from the Prima Tag Pad, stamped some Prima stamps and added a little Dusty Concorde Distress Ink. I stamped the doll onto white card and again onto the green patterned paper. I cut out the dress and stuck it onto the cut out image of the doll then stuck that onto the tag. I added  some doillies to the edge and added a chipboard button and ribbon. The skin is coloured with a Putty ProMarker pen. I cut a little flower from some braid and coloured her shoes and hairband.

These stamps have grown on me and are real fun to work with. They are an ideal choice for girly cards and don't you just love a tag that is already printed for you.
Hope you like xx

Indigo Blu Cards....

Thought you might like to see the three cards that have been made for Kay at Indigo Blu
Hope you like them, the one below is my favourite.
I don't know if you can see it but the car has been layered .

Great Day Out....

With friends, at Ally Pally. Had a fab day yesterday ( despite the knee and  back pain I've got) thanks to my two travelling companions.  They were my carers for the day.
Have bought one or two new goodies to play with, we'll you have to don't you, can't travel that far and not come home with something. I will create ASAP and put some piccies on here for you to browse at.
I managed to give Indigo Blu my card samples at last, only three of them but it's a start, so I do hope Kay likes them and that they are the kind of thing she is looking for. Wish I wouldn't keep doubting if they are good enough and just go with it! So we will see
Anyway, I'm off to my craft room now (7am) to have little play with the new stash before I get off to PTC
