Brusho Demo Designs...

Hey Bloggers how are you? all good I hope
Sorry for my absence, all been a bit crazy this month and it's not over yet!!
I was at Daisy Jewels and Crafts last weekend along with Johnathon Lockwood and my partner in crime the wonderful Hels Sheridan. We had a great weekend with our "3sum" and I thought I'd share a couple of sample pics with you.

This is a sketch book done with Brushos then stamped and stencilled with the new Colour Craft Soft Form Pastes. I've used the new Tim Holtz butterfly die and embossing folder too. /as the paste is flexible it can be embossed which is fabulous

I've used acrylic cardstock to do this one. It's one of my favourite techniques with Brushos and this one has Kaisercraft stamps on it

This one has been sooo popular. I've done this on glossy cardstock and used the new Tim Holtz Flower Garden stamps.

Hope you like them. Don't forget I've got a give away coming up, I haven't forgotten!! so keep watching for more details very soon

I'm back at The Treasury, in Kidderminster, this Saturday 25th for my Configuration House Workshop
You can contact Pat at the shop for more details if you are interested in this workshop

Back Soon xxxx

Gone Fishing.....

With a Woodware stamp and some Kaisercraft paper

DT project for this week is all about fishing and I've chosen to use this stamp along with papers from the Antique Bazaar Collection

I also have the golf stamp in this range and as people always say they struggle to make male cards I think these are perfect

Start by stamping the image onto your background paper then stamping again onto as many different papers as you want to use, I used three

You can see all the instructions on the Craft Barn Blog along with the other team members projects this week

Kaisercraft Krazy.......

With some Candy Box Crafts too

Well what a weekend I've had!!  I was asked by Jones Craft to do two days demonstrating at Craftmania at their stores in Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. I've never been there before but I hope to go back to visit both stores.
I had an amazing time and was made most welcome by Jamie and his mom Daphne, also the lovely ladies who help to run both shops. Jamie is now on the Design Team for Jones Craft and also runs classes at the shops.
I was demoing two Kaisercraft Collections new for April, the Oh So Lovely and the Antique Bazaar. I love both of these collections. I threw in some KC stamps and some mdf from Candy Box Crafts and away I went!!

We covered so many different techniques and projects,  Jamie has put all the pics on their Facebook page, so I'll share a few with you here

This was a display of all the projects covered from both days

A triangle gift box

I love this map paper. It's going on my all time favourite list for sure

This Trinket Box was a great favourite

A layout ready for a lovely photo to be added

Have to say this is a favourite too. I've used some of the paper but I have completely stamped the background. I've done the same with this one too

And finally, another wallet in a larger size

There are more pics on the Craftmania Facebook page if you want to see more of the samples

Union Jacks and Tea and Biccies!!!

Whenever a crisis happens what do we all do???
Put The Kettle On
And what's better than a cup of tea??
Tea and biscuits of course

I've coloured directly onto the stamp with Distress Markers
The stamps are from PaperArtsy and Creative Expressions

Happy Easter.....

To You All

A lovely roast dinner awaits me today with my family, which will taste even better as my sister will be cooking it!! Then tomorrow is a working day and I will be in Preston at Inspirations doing a demo with the new Kaisercraft collections of Oh So Lovely and Antique Bazaar.
Here's a few of my sample designs

Thursday sees me off to the seaside to visit Craftmania in both Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. This will be my furthest journey yet (approx3.5 hrs if the road fairy is good to me) so may need a half way break!!
I'm demoing the same collections here, this time for Jones Craft.  I have a Candy Box Crafts Mini Distress Ink Holder partially finished to take with me and I can't wait to show you when it's done.

The following weekend I'll be with my partner in crime, the intergalactical megastar known as Hels Sheridan, and we are teaming up with John Lockwood for a "3sum" at Daisy Jewels and Crafts for a mega demo weekend. I'll be working with Brushos and also the new Soft Form Pastes and Acrylic Sprays.
This is a double page in my art journal using the Brusho Sprays and the pastes (my play time)
You can see a couple of the tubs of paste in the background

April 25th takes me back to The Treasury in Kidderminster. I'll be doing a workshop of my configuration house. You can contact Pat at the shop if you are interested in doing this workshop

So as you can see busy month ahead. Also keep watching for the next give away donated by Darren Saxton at Jones Craft  ooooooooohhhhhh I can hear you all saying!!!!!

Who Lives In.......

A House Like This......

Now this is one project I have really loved doing. All the stamped panels are from Tim Holtz Stamp sets. It's amazing what you can do with a bit of paint some paper and some Treasure Gold!!
We've all got some little trinkets and broken jewellery in our crafty stash to add to our makes and I've filled the little bottle with some mica flakes, glitter and embossing powder. It makes a great combination to put in little bottles.

You can get the how to make details on the Craft Barn Blog
                                                http://thecraftbarnblog.blogspot.co.uk/

I've also noticed a couple of new followers on here so just wanted to say hi and thanks for joining us.
Also I've got a give away alert!!!!! More details to follow very soon
