Mannequin Design.....

Carrying on from my demo, at Sunrise Crafts last Saturday, I was showing the ladies how I had used the IndigoBlu Gee So Good Gesso to paint an IB Mannequin ready to use IB stamps on it. I was using the stamping onto tissue technique to embellish it.  So yesterday, when I was supposed to be designing for DT work, I decided to finish decorating the mannequin and because I was quite pleased with the finished result I thought I'd share it with you all.
Here it is........

I've used stamps from new IndigoBlu sets plus my old faithful the Vintage Flourish.
Let me know what you think?? This is my first mannequin design

Just A Few More......

DT samples for IndigoBlu

Thought I'd give you some more designs I did. This one was also shown on c and c  but I forgot to add it to yesterdays post

The lovely Rose Blush stamp used with Sheet Music

This wasn't on the show but it happens to be a favourite of mine so I've put it in. I've sprayed the background and over stamped with the Nottingham Lace Set and the Rose Blush so you can just about see the designs through the inks. I've also sprayed and layered some flowers to match the colours.

This one is a swing card and I just wanted to experiment with the arced stamp and I love the way it works to make a circle pattern.

So there you are, just a few more designs for you.
Don't forget if you are entering the IB challenge to get your entry in before the 22nd of March

As Seen On TV.....

Yesterday Kay Halliwell-Sutton was on Create and Craft to showcase some new IndigoBlu designs. Some of my DT samples were shown so I thought I'd share them with you here.
This first one is the card I showed a sneaky peek of the other day.
featuring the tulip from the Nottingham Lace set, this just may be my new favourite set.

The next one is called Dianne.

Another from the Nottingham Lace set and I stamped and heat embossed this one with a crystal embossing powder then added some distress ink to colour the tulip.

I've used a stamp from the More Than Words set for this one, along with the arc stamp from Nottingham Lace.

Did you catch a peek of this one on the counter??

A Good Friends Birthday Card.....

Last week was a good friends birthday
and I designed this card for her.
I blended Distress Inks on the panel and the background then on the panel I spritzed with water. I then dried it off and stamped my main image with IndigoBlu BFF stamps.
I didn't spritz the background because I stamped with Kaisercraft Crackle stamp then added more BFF stamps. A few inked circles to finish off and some Glossy Accents on the bottle and glass.
Off it went to bonny Scotland.

Today I will be demonstrating at The Range in Erdington, Birmingham for Trimcraft. I'll be using the Santoro Mirabelle Collection. If you're around do pop in and say hi, it's always good to see fellow crafters.

New IndigoBlu Designs......

The lovely Kay Halliwell-Sutton will be gracing the Create and Craft screen this Sunday the 9th March with some new IB stamp designs. The DT have been busy beavering away making samples for the shows so we would love for you to watch.
Two designs to look out for are Nottingham Lace and More Than Words. The first one has the most beautiful botanical style tulip on it and lacy stamps too. The second has some of the wall sayings which are real fun.
Here's a sneaky peek of one.....

Hels Sheridan Workshop.....

Photo time.....

I've got piccies for you today YAY!! but first can I just say that I (that's me all be my little own self) have loaded these photos from my iphone!! Are you all suitably impressed??? If your not I'm going to have to ask you to leave this blog now!! because you need to be very impressed that I (again that's me) has learnt how to do this. Okay I did have some help in the beginning but I've just sat on my own and gone and done it. See,  technology, I'm on my way.
So back to the piccies, here they are.....

Such a fun weekend. We had a great time. Hels will be back for another workshop at The Crafty Bunch, Telford near the end of May. I've booked my
 place already

And this is my amazing frame. Hels designed this for Sue at The Crafty Bunch and won't be teaching it anywhere else so it's bespoke so to speak. We learnt so many techniques it was brilliant.

Crafty Bunch Weekend....

Happy Weekend everyone,
Well it's going to be a busy one for me. I'm joining all the guys over in Telford this weekend for a fun filled crafty time with my fabby friends Sue Jones and Hels Sheridan. As I mentioned before I'm gonna be the crafter- come assistant -come tea maker -come cake passer - come run rounder but I'll also at some point come back with a crafting masterpiece designed by our Hels for The Crafty Bunch. it's going to be a bespoke design that Hels won't teach anywhere else. How cool is that.
Hels has a streaming cold at the moment (do you know when you've got a feeling you might possibly be the one that gave it to her) so it's going to be fun watching her keeping her drippings away from the project.
Now I'm not going to have time to come back here before Monday but I promise to post lots of piccies from the weekend.

Oh before I go, I'll just have to mention that I've received some new designs from IndigoBlu and my oh my I'm in love with Nottingham Lace!!! More news on Monday guys...
Telford here I come........
