The full Picture....

Well here it is, hope it was worth waiting for. It's a Graphic45  12 x 12 Matchbox. I saw a version of this and just had to do it my way. It takes layers of gesso, texture paste, lettering, metal embellies, flowers, lace and die cuts followed by spraying inks and Treasure Gold gilding wax to get to this stage.
I know I still have to complete the inside, this will be made as a scrapbook style page. If you have never seen a matchbox the inside pulls out and you decorated it as you wish and the frame is done separately. They come in various sizes.  The doorplate has had texture paste on through a stencil and a doorknob added. and the memories word has been sprayed with inks. The matchbox, doorplate and key (which is on the side panel) wooden memories word are all available at Pink Tulip Creations
The clock is die cut from copper metal sheet and gesso is applied to it and all the flowers, embellies etc. The doorplate has had texture paste on through a stencil and a doorknob added.
I have already been asked if I would do this project as a class so we will have to see.
So there you have it. I don't know how I am going to do the inside just yet, I keep changing my mind about how I want it to look, and yes I will put it on here as soon as it's completed. I hope you think it was worth waiting for because it is one of the most favourite things I have made.
