Show Samples.....

For Create and Craft with Hunkydory

It's so nice to switch on my laptop and not have some weird advert pop up or some strange website tell me I need to buy their products, but enough about that let's get on with some photos!

I had my first flying solo show on Create and Craft last week, with Hunkydory and the Festive Birds of Britain Collection. How fabulous is this kit! So full of beautiful images of such lovely birds.
Here's the two designs that were given away to the two email winners

I used three sheets from the Little Book to decoupage the Robin and the ivy leaves and some of the beautifully foiled cardstock for the front of the card

I love the colours on this Tree Sparrow design and because I've kept the card quite simple I decided to make an exploding insert for the inside

If you would like me to do a step by step tutorial on how to make this insert  just let me know in the comments

The feedback from the "on my own" show was really great. So much so that Hunkydory have asked me to do two shows next Monday 20th July with another new launch, Tis The Season.
I'll be doing the 12 and 3pm shows and I really hope you can come and join me

Hurrah!!.....

Gremlins gone and normal service has been resumed

I am in deepest debt to a good friends husband for putting my laptop out of its misery and removing a Trojan and many viruses. So now I can get back to proper blogging at long last
Now where were we??...
Oh yea!!.....
I had another two shows on Create and Craft with Hunkydory, alongside the lovely Anne-Marie on Friday. Things must have gone well (phew) as I've been asked back again next Friday too. This time I will be doing it all on my lonesome - no pressure there then eeek!!

This is the card I demoed in the first show

It's made from the Fashionably Festive Collection - the collection none of us could pronounce correctly!

Yesterday took me off to Rushden in Northampton to visit Coleman's Craft Warehouse to demo three new collections of Kaisercraft and the Graphic45 Gilded Lily collection. They have demo days every month and  I had a fabulous day and look forward to a return visit soon.
Here's a few of my samples

As you can see I'm looking very gilded in this photo!!

Another perfect pic

A little added gesso, sprays and texture paste on this one

A mini album made with the Sandy Toes Collection

Thanks for bearing with me through all these little problems guys

Morning blog land
I'm afraid it's a short post without pics today. I just wanted to give you a heads up on what's happening
Unfortunately I was scammed and hacked a few days ago which has left me having to have my laptop stripped back  which means I can't post anything while it's been sorted. I'm not able to post photos from iPad or phone so I hope to have things back to normal really soon

I had another great day on Cesate and Craft with Hunkydory yesterday along with Anne-Marie and next week I'm being let loose on my own!!

Today I'm off for my first visit to Colemans Craft Warehouse to Demo for Jones  Craft with some fab Kaisercraft and the Graphic 45 Gilded Lily collections

So, that's got you all up to speed and let's hope normal business is resumed ASAP
See you soon

Hunkydory.......

Christmas on Create and Craft

As promised I've taken some pics of the cards I've made from the Christmas Craftinator from Hunkydory.
The first two are the ones I demonstrated, signed and sent off to the lucky emailers. This first one is my very favourite, the colours are so different to the usual traditional Christmas colours

The polar bears are so cute, I couldn't resist, especially as they were Dave Bradford's favourite

As I said on the show, I think you could start now with this kit and still have some left on Christmas Eve as there is so much in it.
For those of you who have bought it I hope you enjoy it! Here's a few more designs

Just love these snowdrops

It's a huge collection and I was amazed at all the designs and who doesn't love a poinsettia

Now he is just adorable and I added glossy accents to his goggles

This one is so elegant and I've used the three sheets from the little book to decoupage the image

And finally this little character was cut out of an insert and stuck onto the snowy acetate. The rest of the insert was cut to fit around the sentiment and I made some snowy hills from white card stock

I will be back on Create and Craft with more Hunkydory Designs on Friday 3rd July at 3 and 5pm with AnnMarie

Heeellllooooo.......

Is there anybody there.........????????

Did you think I'd run off and left you all? Not a chance I'm afraid!!
I'm having major laptop gremlin problems again with allsorts of virus thingys and pop up thingys happening.
Anyway I'm here today, although it may take me a couple of hours to get this post loaded.

So, what's been happening since I last saw you?

I've had my "TV Debut" on Create and Craft with Hunkydory
and I've done another Demo Day at The Crafty Bunch in Telford with Brushos.
So let's start with C&C I loved every minute of it and had such an amazing response and I must have done okay because Hunkydory have asked me to do it again on 3rd July

It was both a scary and exhilarating experience rolled into one
but I really did enjoy it
I haven't got around to taking pics of my sample cards yet but I will do that and put them on here

Now onto the Demo Day and I have got some pics of my designs to show you so here goes
These feature the fabulous IndigoBlu Peony stamp

On this one I've used the new Sheena Lily stamp and die sets
I really like how this has turned out

The wording is from a new WOW stamp set and a fab Tim Holtz Butterfly
As usual it was another lovely day

Well this has taken an age to post but I promise I will be back asap

Bolton......

Here I come!!

The Great British Craft Festival in Bolton will be my home this weekend along with the rest of Team HunkyDory. I'll be doing Make and Takes so if you're attending this fabulous show please come and find me and say hi, it would be great to put some faces to names.
I'll also be at the Stoneleigh Festival in August but it's too early to know what I'll be doing for that show.

Linda Simpson sent me a message to say she had received her give away prize and was thrilled with it. You are very welcome Linda, enjoy your prize xx

My next visit to The Crafty Bunch in Telford is on June 13th and that's a Brusho Demo and I'll be using more new products there like the Soft Form Texture Paste and the Brusho Acrylic sprays.

My "Debut" on the Create and Craft Screen will also be coming up in June so I have that to look forward to also, no pressure there then!!!

I'll be back next week with some photos from the show, I can't wait!!

Thought I'd share these layouts with you. I've used old photos of my parents that I've being waiting to use forever and I thought these colours went perfect with them.
The papers are Scrapberry's from the Wind of travel Collection.
I'll add my journalling to finish them off.
I enjoyed designing these, lots of paper cutting!

A Crafty Time.....

At The Crafty Bunch

Sunday was an absolutely brilliant day. The Bunch ladies did me proud and produced some amazing work. We laughed all day and Gessoed till we could Gesso no more!!
Everyone's work was the same but different, in either colour choices or placement of the embellishments, but they all finished them to a very high standard.

So after showing some sneaky peeks last time here's the finished article
Have to say I made this several years ago but it still remains one of my favourite makes.

I have to thank Elaine and Maria for my choccies and of course to Sue for a never ending supply of Maltesers!

As you can see from the pics, the ladies were getting really involved with their projects

I'll be back at The Crafty Bunch on Saturday 13th June for another Brusho Demonstration
